What a Typical Week Looks Like
Members gather virtually each week for worship, teaching, and fellowship. Services include readings from the Evangelion and Apostolikon, Elder reflection, and open discussion. Between services, our community stays connected through group discussions, shared study, and prayer.
There is no pressure, no performance, and no hierarchy of worth. Whether you are a new seeker or someone returning to faith after years away, you will find a community that values honesty, questions, and genuine spiritual growth over ritual conformity.
What We Believe
The Marcionite faith is not a new invention. It is the restoration of the earliest Christian understanding — the gospel Paul preached and Marcion preserved.
The Good Father
We worship the God of pure love and mercy revealed by Jesus Christ — the unknown, supreme Father who is entirely good, entirely gracious, and wholly separate from the Creator-god of the Old Testament.
The True Scripture
Our canon consists of the Evangelion (the Gospel of the Lord) and the Apostolikon (the letters of Paul) — the only authentic scriptures, restored from patristic sources and free from later interpolation.
Paul, the True Apostle
We hold Paul as the sole faithful apostle of Christ. The other apostles compromised the gospel by blending it with the religion of the Creator-god. Paul alone preserved the pure message.
Rejection of the Old Testament God
The Creator-god of the Old Testament — wrathful, jealous, and legalistic — is not the Father of Jesus Christ. Christ came to liberate humanity from the Creator's law and reveal a God previously unknown.
Salvation by Grace Alone
Salvation comes through the unmerited grace of the Good Father, revealed in Christ's sacrifice. It cannot be earned through works of the law or ritual observance — it is a gift freely given to all who believe.
A Living Faith, Not a Dead Religion
We are not a historical curiosity. The Marcionite Assembly is a living, growing community of believers who take the original gospel seriously and seek to live it out in the modern world.

The International Synod
The governing body of the worldwide Marcionite Assembly.
The Marcionite Assembly International Synod is the central authority that oversees doctrine, ordination, and the coordination of assemblies around the world. While local assemblies focus on worship, fellowship, and community life, the Synod ensures unity of teaching and governs the path to ordained ministry.
If you feel called to serve as clergy — to teach, guide, and shepherd — ordination is handled exclusively through the Synod. Local assemblies do not ordain; they nurture and recommend candidates.
